or, after watching the Avengers Endgame trailer.

One thing, HA, I totally called the title. I've been Team Endgame from the jump.

I spewed some thoughts on my tumblr...one was a quick vision of Pepper in her Rescue suit going after Tony, and his reaction on seeing her. Several pals there asked me to expand on it, so I spent nearly 4 hours on my butt fixated on my laptop screen.

Boy, this account has not got squat in it, does it? lol

Sorry. I've been doing a lot, dropped some interests, gained some new ones, and wandered around the interwebs for quite a while since I was last over here. Most recently, I just got settled over on tumblr, and now it's being ska-rewed up by its management, and most of the new friends and acquaintances I've made over there are decamping for greener pastures, including over here. So, I will probably be around here a bit more, posting some stuff.

I'm writing fanfic again, and it's over on ao3 under this name, like most everyplace else online, because a, I'm lazy, and b, it makes it easier for folks to find me. But I'll post some crafts here (as soon as I figure out how to post pictures 0_o), links to my blog, general rants (mostly related to the MCU rabbit hole I recently fell down, I suspect) et cetera.

Hello Dreamwidth! and hello everybody. My lj had lain fallow for a long time but with the recent weirdness, I thought it best to move over here. When I get time I'll go hunting for some old friends and interest groups I belonged to before the invasion 0_0

Also I've developed new interests since then so will be looking up groups relevant to those.

Since my Ghost Adventures fic That Which Lies Hidden doesn't seem to be getting much love, I'm not going to continue hauling it over here & posting it. I will continue to post it for the GAC group at dA.

The GAC/Supernatural crossover fic Worlds Collide, written by tetiny68 & me, will continue--only the chappie I just posted and 2 more left, so get in now if you like both these excellent shows & wonder as we did why in the world Sam & Dean had never met Zak, Nick and Aaron. :D

Okay, I give up on estimating the total number of chapters. Not that the story is going to go on forever, but I was going to end Hidden after chapter 13 and start a sequel; but various dA deviants have persuaded me to just continue this epic. lol. So y'all are stuck with it for a while longer. The title fits with future plans well, anyway. 20-something chapters in all, I expect.

Anyway, as you may recall, chapter 6 ended after the exorcism, as Claire is about to explain herself and recent events to Zak. Not a lot of action in this chapter, sorry to say, but we do hear Zak's side of things for the first time, and he & Claire get on the same page and clear some issues up. :-)

That Which Lies Hidden, a Ghost Adventures fic, chapter 6/12 (I think. The guys & Claire keep running their mouths.)

Hope nobody minds a really loooong chapter--I could have broken it, but it would have left one H of a cliffhanger, and I couldn't bear to do that. :)

Translations of the Latin exorcism excerpts are at the end, so as not to break up the flow of the scene. Picture this as one long camera shot. Also a few notes down there.

Yes, it keeps getting longer. Hope that doesn't bother anybody. :D Also hope nobody minds that this is a rather looong chapter--I get to write during the week but usually only have time to type and post on weekends. So if you're not caught up this far, you will likely have all week to get that way.

Rated R for language and adult themes. Length about 2500 words.

As a general rule, I’m not into slash. I’ve found some good ones, but the oft-required suspension of disbelief does not come easy for me, for some reason. Even rarer are slash fics that completely blow me away. Promises was one such fic. It wrung out my emotions so profoundly, that while I was sweeping up the teeny tiny shards of my shattered heart, I heard my brain wailing “NONONONO!!! Make it all better!” And after a few minutes’ thought, that’s exactly what happened.
